Is My System One CPAP Heated Humidifer Working?

by Maryann

I have been using a Respironics REMstar Pro C-Flex+ AutoIQ with a System One Heated Humidifer for one month now. I do not notice the water in the Humidifer getting warm at all. My CPAP provider said that the unit senses when to heat the water depending upon the humidity in the room. Is this true or is my unit not working properly? I did read tonight about a preheat feature and will try using that tonight to see if the water gets warm.

Your videos have been very helpful and easy to understand. Great job!! I would recommend your site to anyone using a CPAP whether they are a new user or have been using one for a while.

Thank you so much for the video...I am a visual person and it was great! I now understand the unit much more and have several options to try and consider. I am going to try the preheating suggestion tonight for sure. Thank you!
