Chin Strap For Snoring– Stop Using It if Any Of These 7 Things Occur

Please do not use a Chin Strap for Snoring or a CPAP Chin Strap if you have the following :

a) You suffer from Allergies.

You need to be able to breathe through your mouth. By the way, if you are currently using a CPAP or BiPAP machine, the best mask to use is a  Cpap Full Face Mask in tho situation.

b) You have a cold, flu or sinus infection. You need to be able to breathe through your mouth. Your nose is congested and by default we automatically open our mouth to breath. Using a chin strap at that time is not advisable. Please consult your physician.

c) If you have sustained a trauma or had a medical procedure  done to your nose forcing you to breathe through your mouth.  Please do not use a Chin Strap for Snoring.

d) If you have sustained any trauma or had surgery to your jaw or mouth, do not use a strap until you have healed and your doctor has approved it.

e) If you already grind your teeth,  using one may make it worse. Please check with your dentist first.

f) If you have any tooth or gum problems. Please show your dentist the type of chin strap you are planning to use. Telling them about it is not enough. You must show them a picture of it. Many dentists may not be familiar with the specific type  you are planning to buy. Showing them a picture will help.

g) Whenever you feel nauseous or are currently vomiting. In case you have to throw up, you do not want to use it for that night either.
